An independent shop for Viking on the Sammamish Plateau
One brand, one plateau, and a trade built on what sits above and in the counter: hoods, downdrafts, cooktops and rangetops.
Viking Repair Sammamish has worked the Sammamish Plateau since 2019. Calls are taken 24/7 and visits run every day of the week, 8 am–8 pm. Describe the fault and the model when you book, and we plan the visit and the parts from that.
A hood that has stopped pulling, a cooktop with a cracked top and a rangetop that burns lazy all look like the end of the appliance from across the kitchen. They may not be. Our job is to find out which part failed, prove it with a reading, and say plainly when replacing is the better money. That is the whole of our repair-or-replace section, and the jobs worth doing before you call us are in the care notes.
How we work
Four habits behind every visit

The meter before the part
Draw at the hood filter, flame on each burner, supply at the controls, temperature against the setpoint. A price written from a description over the phone is a guess, and guesses get paid for twice.

The hood and the top together
A cooking top and the hood above it make one system. We read both before recommending work on either, so money goes to the part that is actually holding the kitchen back.

The opening decides a lot
Much of the plateau was built before Sammamish became a city in 1999. Before anyone orders a replacement we measure the counter opening, the duct and the supply, because those decide what will fit.

We will say stop
If a repair would cost more than the unit is worth to you, we say so at the bench. Talking someone out of a repair loses us a job and keeps the phone ringing.

- Pricing
- $89 buys the visit and the full diagnosis. Go ahead with the repair and that $89 is taken off its price. The firm figure for parts and labour is agreed before any work, and the price board on each service page shows the band it will sit in
- Licence
- Bonded, insured and licensed. Want the licence number? Ask on the phone and it is yours.
